Champaign Heights Fire with Subject and Dog Rescue

This morning at 0032 units were dispatched to a commercial box alarm at Champaign Heights. Shortly after, dispatch advised units of a possible fire with a victim trapped inside. Chief 3 on scene reporting fire showing, making it a code red. Engine 21 was the first engine on scene. E21 Alpha crew began a primary search, extricating an unresponsive subject in the bedroom. E21 Bravo crew began to extinguish the fire. At the same time, E21 chauffeur was able to establish water supply. E21 Alpha crew reentered the building to continue its search and located a dog and was able to carry it outside. Great job by all companies involved
